Soil & Water Solutions Ltd successfully complete the remediation of the workshops at the listed former coachworks and showrooms of Henry McMullen, Hertford for housing developer GO Homes. The contamination on site was identified and found to be localised to the proximity of the former waste oil underground storage tanks (USTs). The contamination was contained and recovered by a combination of surface skimmers and a separate bespoke pump & treat system. In total over 1,200,000 litres of water were recovered and treated during a 10-week programme to the satisfaction of the local regulators.
